Readers & orders
Questions about a title, a receipt, a download link that will not open, or a recommendation you would like to make. This is the address to use for almost everything.
Folio 004
A short page, for a small press. Write to us and we will read it.
We keep contact simple on purpose. There is no form on this page, and there will not be one. Forms tend to promise a lot and answer nothing; they collect messages into a queue that nobody quite owns. An email address, by contrast, is a smaller and older piece of infrastructure. It arrives in a specific inbox and is read by a specific person.
Fewer moving parts also means faster replies. We aim to answer within two business days. If your note is about a purchase, please include the order number so we can find it quickly. If your note is about a title we have not written yet, we would still like to hear it — that is often how a title begins.

Press
Booksellers, librarians, and writers covering independent publishing. Review copies of The Slow Return, A Working Week, and The Long Middle are available on request.
Mailing
Northoward, LLC is a Delaware-registered publisher. The full mailing address is available on request; we prefer to keep it off the open web. Write first, and we will send it.
Notes are read Monday through Friday, and answered within two business days. If a week passes without a reply, assume the note did not arrive and please send it again — the fault is almost certainly on our end.
For matters that touch policy — a refund request, a question about how we handle your data, or the terms under which the guides are sold — the relevant pages are the shortest route: refund policy, privacy notice, and terms. You are welcome to write anyway; the pages are there so the answer arrives faster.
Northoward is a small operation. Most letters land on the desk of Eleanor Whitfield, our founding editor, or one of two readers who help her keep the correspondence moving. If your note is thoughtful, expect a thoughtful reply; if it is brief, expect a brief one. Either is fine.
